Welcome to Bend Theatre for Young People…

Bend Theatre for Young People (BTYP) enriches the lives of Central Oregon youth by offering affordable and accessible education in the art and craft of theatre.

BTYP classes offer opportunity for an experience that builds confidence and promotes self-discipline while reinforcing responsibility & good communication skills.

BTYP was established in 1997 and hosts year round after school programs which combine theatre education with enjoyable and interactive performing arts. Popular with students of all ages, activities include speech, movement, pantomime, improvisation, theatre games and performances. Each program includes an eight-week after school class and we also offer an extensive Conservatory Session every summer.

Classes July 5 through July 28th
Monday through Thursday, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Since 1997 BTYP has been offering the most comprehensive summer drama
program designed to enhance skills in pantomime, stage movement, improvisation,
intermediate and advanced acting all while building self-confidence and improving communication skills important for success in life!

Registration Day/First Day, July 5th (final payment due)
One parent/guardian must be present to meet with staff for half hour (1:30-2:00)

Session II – Acting/Voice & Diction July 11th -14th – $85.00

Session III – Singing/Dance/Stage Movement July18th-21st – $85.00

Session IV – Improv/Pantomime July 25th – 28th + Review 6:30 p.m. July 28th – $85.00
